Design Ethos

Purpose-Built, Not Overbuilt.

The Field Asset 36 draws from 1950s mil-spec field watches, specifically the GG-W-113 and MIL-W-3818 standards, known for being no-nonsense tools of the job.

We've maintained the vintage the proportions but, updated the materials, movement, and removed the dial branding to double down on clarity.

This isn’t a homage, it’s a modern continuation.

The stealth dial, and the high-contrast printing are all deliberate choices rooted in military spec logic: maximum legibility, minimal distraction.

Every decision, from the compact 36mm case to the in-house regulation, was made to serve clarity, robustness, and field-readiness.

That’s the thing about a properly made field watch: it’s not just a tool watch.
It’s the kind of watch you reach for without thinking.

Daily? Yes.
Smart casual? Surprisingly.
Actual field use? Absolutely.

If form follows function, then the field watch is the blueprint.

Shipping, Returns & Warranty FAQ

Ordering & Delivery

Q: Are your watches ready to ship or pre-order?

Both. We outline whether the watch is a pre-order product or ready to ship product below the price advertised for the watch.

UK Ready to Ship Orders: 2 business days from dispatch.

International Ready to Ship Orders: 5–15 business days from dispatch.

Returns & Refunds

Q: Can I return my watch if I change my mind?

Yes. You have 14 calendar days from receiving your watch to request a return under the statutory cooling-off period.

Q: What condition must the watch be in to qualify for a return?

• Returned in resaleable condition.

• No scratches, strap creasing, dents, or tampering.

• Original packaging, protective films, documentation, and accessories must be included.

Q: Who pays for return shipping?

Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. We recommend a tracked and insured service.

Q: Will you deduct fees from my refund?

Refunds may be reduced to reflect diminished value if the watch shows signs of use beyond what’s necessary for inspection.

Q: How long will it take to process my refund?

Refunds are processed within 15 business days of receipt of the returned watch, provided all conditions are met.

Q: Can I return my watch after 14 days?

After 14 days, returns are only accepted if the watch is faulty or not as described. In that case, we will repair or replace the watch, or issue a refund if neither is possible.

Warranty

Q: Do your watches come with a warranty?

Yes. Every Low Horology watch comes with a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturing and assembly defects.

Q: What does the warranty cover?

• Mechanical faults in the movement.

• Assembly of the dial, hands, and casing.

Q: What isn’t covered under warranty?

• Impact damage, drops, misuse.

• Water ingress caused by an unscrewed crown or exposure beyond intended use.

• Steam, chemicals, or high-pressure water.

• Strap wear, fading lume, cosmetic scratches from normal use.

• Timing variation due to normal wear, tear and timing drift.

• Servicing or alteration by third parties.

Q: How do I make a warranty claim?

Email hello@lowhorology.com with:

• Proof of purchase.

• A description of the issue.

• Photos or video of the problem.

If approved, we’ll arrange return and inspection. If the fault is confirmed, we’ll repair or replace at no cost. If neither is possible, a refund will be issued in line with your statutory rights.

Q: What about water resistance?

• Our cases, crowns, and case backs are supplied by OEM manufacturers and designed for up to 10 ATM (100m) water resistance.

• We do not ISO-certify assembled watches - water resistance is based on component specification.

• Watches are built for everyday life, not deep-sea diving.

• Warranty claims for water ingress will be rejected if the crown was left unscrewed, the case back was opened, or the watch was submerged beyond its intended use.

General

Q: What if my watch is delayed?

Delays sometimes happen due to supply chain, logistics, or customs. We’ll keep you updated, and you can cancel for a full refund at any time before dispatch.

Q: What law governs my purchase?

All purchases are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
